The Unit for Energy and Nanomaterials held a joint workshop with College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University on January 23, 2019.

Since 2004, the workshop has been organized alternatively by each institution on the purpose of educational and research collaborations between faculty members and graduate students in both universities.

This time Peking University was a main organizer and delegates from Waseda including graduates students visited there.

In the workshop the latest research topics such as Fiber-shaped Photoelectric Devices,Blue OLED, Organic Radical Polymer Battery were introduced. The poster sessions by both graduate students were also held and participants had active scientific discussions.

During the visit, Prof. Homma, the Unit leader, Dean of Academic Affairs Division, had a meeting with directors of Peking University headquarter for further collaborations such as PhD student Co-Supervision Program and activities promoting joint research.
