Joint Supervision

Joint Supervision is a framework that enables Ph.D. students to learn and conduct research at both Waseda University and one other overseas partner university. Each student is expected to fulfill specific course or credit requirements and receive research guidance from two supervisors, one from Waseda University, and the other from the partner university who is carefully selected to match the student's research topic. Those who successfully complete the requirements earn a certificate issued jointly by Waseda University and the partner university. This program gives students access to top researchers from two universities.
