OYAIZU, Kenichi

I am interested in development of functional polymers with an emphasis on energy-related materials and devices. My research topics include synthesis of high refractive polymers for optical application, charge transport and storage by electroactive polymers for organic rechargeable batteries and redox flow batteries (see Figure), electrical bistability of polymers for organic memory devices, development of charge separation and transport systems using high density redox polymers for organic solar cells, and development of organic anode-active materials for organic Li-ion batteries.
