Research Interests |
Research Interests: Leading-edge organic polymers are being developed toward emerging energy and electronic materials. Along the molecular designing of polymers, we have been demonstrating very efficient charge separation, transportation, and storage in the polymers. These polymers open a new area for practical use, such as organic-based flexible rechargeable batteries, thin and rollable solar cells, water-splitting electrodes, and hydrogen fixing and carrying plastics. Flexibility, light-weight, clean, and safety are inherent advantages of the polymer-based devices. We also involve the following research subjects: Macromolecular complexes for a sustainable technology and green syntheses of functional polymers. ![]() |
