Nanotechnology have shown its great potentials for innovation in various fields. To make dreams come true, it is necessary to produce nanomaterials and their devices at large scales and low costs. We are developing practical processes to produce nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and silicon nanostructures rapidly, simply, at high yields, and applying these nanomaterials to various devices including rechargeable batteries and solar cells. We will support the society to be sustainable by developing low-cost devices for renewable energy using abundant chemical elements of C and Si.
