Since the most microorganisms in the environment are unculturable, a new analysis on genomic information is required. In our laboratory, we have developed microfluidics single-cell genome analysis. Furthermore, we adopted Raman spectroscopy, which enables label-free detection of molecular substances at single-cell level, to perform the screening of beneficial microbiomes. To elucidate the functions of environmental microbiomes we integrated the data obtained from our developing technologies. Moreover, we perform the integrated analysis to understand the complex phenomena in animal cells. In the future, we hope our developing technologies enables to apply for various fields such as medical field.
