Abstract

CO2 can be fixed into low molecular weight CO2 -polyol via telomerization of CO2 and propylene oxide in the existence of chain transfer agent, catalyst is most important for the product selectivity. Such CO2 -polyol may be the bridge to create new chance in polyurethane and epoxy resin industry, which find new applications as adhesives and anti-corrosion coatings.
