Abstract

Themogalvanic Performance of Organic Redox Molecules

Themogalvanic cells are attractive technologies for harvesting low-grade thermal energy due to their large thermo-electrochemical response and simple device architecture.  The thermogalvanic Seebeck coeffieint is directly governed by entropy change of the redox reactions.Engineering redox entropy will be discussed to represent an effective strategy for high thermoelectric performance.
