The Unit for Energy and Nanomaterials is a research hub launched in 2014 by Waseda University as part of the Top Global University Project (TGU) funded by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
Joint Supervision is a framework that enables Ph.D. students to learn and conduct research at both Waseda University and one other overseas partner university.
Joint appointment /Visiting professor systems are designed to recruit preeminent international academics to Waseda University.
In cooperation with institutions and researchers overseas, we are striving to develop human resources that will lead the way in the Energy-Next initiative.
We provide international opportunities for our students to gain a broad range of academic and cultural experiences.
